TEEN ASTRONOMY CAMPS 2008
Of the 30 students accepted into the Astronomy Camps this summer, at least five will be awarded scholarships. Only partial scholarships are available with the amount awarded determined by demonstrated financial need. Students are expected to fund the remainder of the tuition on their own initiative. Particular consideration is given to new students.
Please complete this application form and submit it along with the student's regular application to either the Beginning or Advanced Astronomy Camp. All information is strictly confidential and will be used only for the purpose of awarding this scholarship.
Limited scholarship funds are available. In order to receive full consideration, please complete ALL parts of this form and, on the back, DESCRIBE your specific financial and family situation, such as medical bills, employment issues, etc.
Completed applications must be received by April 4, 2008. You will be notified of our decision no later than April 23 in time to make travel arrangements.
